We were thrilled to partner with flyhighbillie as a pro bono client to assist with strategy, messaging and press office activities.

The challenge

flyhighbillie™ is a registered charity established in 2018 in memory of Billie Kinder. The challenge was to raise awareness of the inaugural ‘walk for a kinder world’ event which coincided with World Kindness Day 2020 by generating media interest, and encourage registration and participation in the initiative’s activities.

The solution

Our team developed curated pitchs and case studies to support an extensive media outreach program with the aim of gaining media coverage across mainstream media in the weeks leading up to the event. We engaged with journalists and leveraged Danny’s personal story to achieve maximum reach.

The outcome

Working with ImpactInstitute’s Public Relations team, the media relations activity drove traffic to the relevant landing page and signups for the initiative.

We saw coverage go live on Network 10’s morning show, Studio 10 where flyhighbillie CEO Danny Mayson-Kinder represented her organisation and its passion for spreading kindness.

The initiative saw external groups such as Assistance Dogs Australia and Pymble Ladies College participate in the walk and spread kindness.

"A huge, massive thank you to you all for your time, expertise and effort. I am so very grateful to you for helping flyhighbillie. Thank you doesn't really seem enough as we are so indebted to you for your support."
